Break, Enter And Thefts In Goderich

(GODERICH, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently investigating two break, enter and thefts that occurred in the Town of Goderich sometime during the late night hours on March 7th through to the early morning hours on March 8, 2014.

A garage was entered on Quebec Street through an unlocked man door. Once inside those responsible stole property consisting of sporting equipment and power tools. Some of the stolen items include:

A white and teal “Flow” snowboard
A black and red “Sims” snowboard
Firefly snowboard boots.
Golf club sets consisting of Taylor Made irons, King Cobra putter, Adams & Titleist Drivers.
A Mastercraft 18 volt cordless drill
Bauer APX Skates and Bauer APX stick
An assortment of hand tools

The value of the stolen goods is believed to be an estimated at $7,000 to $8,000.

Nearby on Elgin Avenue West, an unattached garage was entered the same night. Those responsible entered through an unlocked garage window and proceeded to steal a set of “National” brand wrenches and two red gasoline canisters.

The value of the stolen items is believed to be around $220.
