(TOWN OF FERGUS, ON) – On March 10, 2014 at approximately 1:13 a.m. officers from the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a 1997 Saturn that was travelling in the area of Bridge Street and Tower Street in the Town of Fergus.
Police spoke with the driver and determined that he had been drinking. He was administered a Roadside Screening Device test which resulted in a fail.
Stephen Wilson age 51 of Fergus has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal court on April 18, 2014 to answer to the charge.
The Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle impounded for seven days.
