OPP CHARGE QUEBEC MEN WITH DRUG OFFENCES

(PEMBROKE, ON) – On Tuesday March 11, 2014, members of the Upper Ottawa Valley detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of Pembroke St. W. in the City of Pembroke, Ontario. During the investigation, police located a quantity of methamphetamine pills (speed) with an estimated street value of approximately $1800 in the vehicle. Three males from the Province of Quebec were arrested at the scene.

As a result of this investigation, police have arrested and charged:

Michael JOLICOEUR, 27, with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Breach of Recognizance x2 and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime,

Aaron DUVAL, 26, with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Breach of Recognizance and

Marty ROY, 38, with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Possession of Oxycontin.

Both DUVAL and ROY were released on a Promise to Appear while JOLICOEUR was held in custody and later released on a recognizance of bail.
