(FOREST, ON) A Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigation that arose from a domestic complaint and allegedly involved animal cruelty has resulted in an arrest and charges.
The investigation began March 14, 2014 and progressed into the arrest of a 22 year old male at his residence in Forest, ON. The male faces charges of:
3x Animal cruelty
Utter Threats to Cause Death
Possession of a Narcotic Marihuana in an undisclosed amount
The male remains in custody and has a Sarnia court date of March 17, 2014.
The OPP Urban Search and Rescue Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Explosives Response Team (UCRT) carried out on-scene testing of the chemicals located at the residence and OPP UCRT is now satisfied that none of the chemicals were explosive or illegal.
The Lambton OPP investigation into the chemicals is now complete and no charges have resulted. However Lambton OPP will remain on scene and continue with the animal cruelty investigation.
