Barrie Police were called to a south end arena for a group of parents beginning to argue with each other and the Officials at a minor hockey game.
Police were able to calm the parents from both teams and issued a caution that any further abusive behavior will result in the stands being emptied for the duration of the game.
Thankfully common sense prevailed and the game was completed without further incident.
