On March 15, 2014 Waterloo Regional Police executed a Criminal Code Search warrant at a Kitchener residence. The warrant execution stemmed from an ongoing investigation into thefts from a local technology company. As a result of the investigation three Kitchener men, ages 24, 31 and 32, have been charged with various property related crimes including Theft over $5000 and possession of stolen property. Police have recovered a quantity of stolen property including computers and cell phones. The men are scheduled to appear in court on April 22, 2014.
