(CENTRE -WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On March 14, 2014 at approximately 6:34 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers received a complaint about a possible impaired driver in a 2009 Honda in Elora and possibly heading towards Fergus. Officers located the male at the L.C.B.O. parking lot in Fergus and he showed signs of being impaired by alcohol. He was arrested and brought to the South Wellington Operations Centre in Rockwood for testing.
The Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
Bradley VANDERWOUDE age 47 of Elora has been charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on April 25, 2014 to answer to the charges.
