Last month, Ontario’s Chief Justice announced that the fine for distracted driving would increase.
As of today, the fine for using a hand-held device while behind the wheel increases from $155 to $280.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service would like to encourage all drivers to please keep their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road.
