(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On March 19th, 2014 at approximately 6:00pm, Quinte West OPP responded to a call of a suspicious male in downtown Trenton. When police arrived on scene they were met by a 38 year old intoxicated male from Prince Edward County.
The male was placed under arrest by police and during a subsequent search of the male police found a large quantity of marijuana on the male.
A check of the male showed that he was released from custody earlier that day and placed on conditions. At the time of the arrest in Quinte West the male was observed to be breaching the conditions of his release.
The 38 year old is charged with: Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Fail to Comply with Conditions of an Undertaking, and Possession of Property obtained by Crime. He is being held for bail at the Ontario Court of Justice at 15 Bridge St West, Belleville.
