DRINKING AND DRIVING

(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) – On March 19, 2014 at approximately 7:41 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers stopped a 1992 Lincoln on Church Boulevard, Erin. The male driver showed signs of consuming alcohol. He provided a sample of his breath into an Approved Roadside Screening Device which resulted in a fail and was taken to the South Wellington Operations Centre in Rockwood for further testing.

The Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.

David Baker age 67 of Erin has been charged with Over 80 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on April 15, 2014 to answer to the charge.
