(TAMWORTH, ON)- As a result of a tip from a concerned citizen, Napanee OPP has located Erin BALL of Kingston.
Police were called to Mountain Road, east of Tamworth this morning at 10 a.m. after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in a laneway just off Mountain Road, Stone Mills Township.
Ball’s silver 2011 Hyundai Elantra was located and police immediately began a search for the missing woman.
At 2:05 p.m. an OPP Canine Unit and members of the OPP Emergency Response Team located BALL in a densely wooded area approximately 1.5 km from her vehicle. BALL was suffering from exposure.
An air ambulance was called in to transport BALL to Kingston General Hospital.
The Ontario Provincial Police wish to thank the public for their assistance in locating BALL.
