(Cavan Monaghan Township, ON) -On March 19 members of the Peterborough County OPP were called to investigate a report of a Theft from an automobile that occurred at a Mount Pleasant Residence.
At some time in the late hours of March 18 and early morning of March 19, unknown suspects attended a residence in Mount Pleasant and riffled the interior of an unlocked motor vehicle.
The property owner reports that stolen from the vehicle was a small quantity of cash, two key chain watches, two Knap sacks , one being a Roots brand bag and a Carved wooden cane.,
The OPP are reminding vehicle owners of the importance of securing your motor vehicle against theft. Remove all items of value from the vehicle or at least secure it in the trunk.
