On Saturday March 15 at 5:25pm police stopped a vehicle in Renfrew for a traffic offence. Open liquor was seized from the vehicle and the male driver failed a roadside alcohol screening test. He was arrested and transported to the detachment for further breath tests. As a result Adam PEARSON 19 of Laurentian Valley Township was charged with impaired driving and driving over 80mgs. He was released from custody on a promise to appear in court in Renfrew on April 16. Provincial Constable Troy Dobbie investigated.
