(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment is currently investigating a personal injury collision at an Argyle St, Caledonia, Haldimand County, ON address.
Today Saturday March 22nd, 2014 at approximately 3:30 am Emergency Services were called to the Argyle St address after a silver 2010 BMW car failed to negotiate the curve in the roadway and entered the south ditch.
Investigation has thus far revealed that the BMW car was travelling south bound on Argyle St when it failed to negotiate the curve and entered the south ditch. Upon entering the ditch the vehicle rolled over several times and while rolling ejected the lone male driver. The driver identified as 25 year old Duncan LEGERE of Burlington, ON sustained serious injuries.
Haldimand County Paramedics and Fire Department attended the scene and provided emergency medical treatment to the driver before transporting him to a Hamilton hospital for further treatment.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are assisting with the investigation.
Argyle St at Sixth (6th) Line and at Hwy #6 was closed to through traffic to allow for investigation.
