(CITY OF TEMISKAMING SHORES, ON) Members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were advised of a vehicle theft on March 20, 2014 from a residence on Agnes Street in New Liskeard.
A 51-year-old man later returned to the residence and would not respond when summoned by police. As a result, members of the Temiskaming OPP requested assistance from the Temiskaming Crime Unit, and the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
On March 22, 2014 at approximately 7:15 a.m. Kenneth REESE was placed in custody and is charged for Theft of Motor Vehicle – Section 334(a) of the Criminal Code, Possession of Property Over 5,000 – section 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code and Possession of Cannabis Marihuana – section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Accused will be held for bail at Ontario Court of Justice in Haileybury on March 24, 2014.
