(ELGIN COUNTY, ON) A 32 year old West Elgin man has been arrested and charged with an Indecent Act after Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a complaint that a man had exposed his genitals to a staff member and witness at a restaurant in Rodney, ON.
The incident occurred on Friday March 21, 2014 at approximately 9:25pm when the male entered the Back Door Pizza Restaurant to pick up a pizza order. While in the restaurant the male exposed his genitals and began masturbating in view of a female staff member and a female witness. He then departed the restaurant.
The police investigation identified the male as Robert Claude COCHRANE, age 32 of West Elgin, ON. He was arrested without incident a short time later at his residence and released on an Officer in Charge Undertaking.
COCHRANE has been charged with;
Indecent Act contrary to section 173(1) (b) of the Criminal Code.
He is scheduled to appear in St. Thomas Criminal Court April 22, 2014.
