(COLLINGWOOD, ONTARIO) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged a motorist with drinking and driving yesterday evening in Collingwood.
Shortly after 6:00pm on the 26th of March 2014 an officer on patrols conducted a vehicle stop on Maple Street near Third Street. The male driver was subjected to a roadside breath test which resulted in a ‘fail’ reading, he was subsequently arrested and transported to Collingwood detachment for processing.
Charged is 37 year-old Cavan DYKEMAN of Collingwood, he is facing a charge of driving with more than 80 mgs. of alcohol in blood and is to appear in Collingwood court on the 8th of April 2014.
