(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – A recent vehicle stop conducted by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has resulted in a small quantity of marihuana being seized.
On March 29, 2014 an OPP officer stopped a vehicle for speeding on Highway 35 near Mount Horeb Road. During the investigation the officer determined that a small quantity of marihuana was in the vehicle.
As a result of the investigation Lincoln FORTIER, 20 years of age, of Lindsay, was charged with possession of marihuana, under 30 grams, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on May 1, 2014.
