(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Tuesday April 12, 2011, Perth County OPP officers were dispatched to two separate businesses located on Perth Road 125 North of St.Marys. Employees of the businesses reported that entry to the buildings was gained between 6 p.m. on Monday April 11, 2011 and 6 a.m. Tuesday April 12, 2011.
One business was entered via a shop man-door, which in turn allowed entry to the office area. The office was searched and a small amount of cash was removed. Nothing else appeared missing or damaged.
The second business was entered by prying open an East facing wooden man-door. The office was entered and a small office safe was destroyed. Nothing from inside the safe was taken and no other items appear missing. Damage to the East facing man-door and the safe was extensive.
The Perth County OPP is requesting anyone who may have information about this theft or who observed suspicious vehicles or persons on Road 125 during the time of the break-in’s to contact them at 1-888-310-1122 or to call CRIME STOPPERS at 1-800-222-8477.
