(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) -On March 29, 2014 at approximately 5:28 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. Program on Wellington Road 19 and Anderson Street, Centre Wellington Township. A male driver of a 2009 Honda entered the check point and showed signs of alcohol consumption. A roadside screening device test was administered which resulted in a fail. He was brought to the Centre Wellington Operations Centre in Fergus for further testing.
The Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
Danial GORALEWSKI age 30 of Fergus has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on May 6, 2014 to answer to the charge.
