(South Glengarry) – On 01Apr14, at approximately 1:30pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a male attempting to use a gift card that was obtained by fraudulent means.
The investigation revealed that a male driver (Mohammad Riaz ABBASI of Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC) was in possession of numerous gift cards that were obtained by fraudulent means. The 50yr old male was attempting to purchase gas with the cards.
He was arrested and faces charges of:
– Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 x5
He is scheduled to appear 06Jun14 in Alexandria court.
