(SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On March 31st, 2014 at approximately 4:20 p.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report that 2 youth while on their way home from school was approached by a female.
As a result of an extensive investigation by members of the Huronia West OPP Street Crime Unit the above female has been identified by Police and as a result no public safety issue exist. .
The OPP reminds all members of the public to be aware of their personal safety, and that of children, at all times. Children should not be left unattended anywhere, for any length of time, when out in the public. The OPP’s website, www.opp.ca contains a number of useful resources, tips and links.
