(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Haldimand County detachment has charged a 42 year old male with drinking and driving offences after a vehicle struck a Main St. Dunnville, Haldimand County, ON building.
On Wednesday April 2nd, 2014 at approximately 10:50 pm Police responded the Main St address after a red 2008 Ford pickup truck struck the Godfathers Pizza building. The truck was parked in the parking lot of Godfathers Pizza when it was placed in motion and struck the building causing damage to the building.
Upon arriving on scene Police located the driver and while investigating the incident detected signs of impairment by alcohol.
Charged with Impaired Driving, Driving over the legal limit of alcohol and Driving a motor vehicle with liquor readily available is 42 year old Troy LEGER of Lethbridge, Alberta. He is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charges.
