(PAISLEY, ON) – On Friday, April 15th, 2011, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of South Bruce OPP, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence on Ross Street in Paisley.
The residence was searched. Police seized cannabis marihuana plants, cannabis marihuana bud, cannabis leaf and stem, scales, packaging material, and $455.00 cash. The total combined value of seized drugs was approximately $27,000.00.
Marthe –Ann LALONDE, 57 Years, of the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie is charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with production of a controlled substance (cannabis marihuana), and possession of a controlled substance (cannabis marihuana) for the purposes of trafficking.
