(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 51 year old male after police received a call from an alert citizen at a Queensway East, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Friday, April 4, 2014, at approximately 11:03 p.m., police received a call from a concerned citizen about an impaired driver that was observed leaving a Queensway East address.
The vehicle was subsequently located, stopped and investigated.
As a result of investigation, police arrested and charged 51 year old Gary Ernest MCCONNELL of Norfolk County, Ontario with impaired driving and driving over the legal limit.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
