(TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH, ON)- On April 4, 2014, the Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began an investigation into a Robbery which occurred in the Town of New Tecumseth on April 3, 2014 at a residence on Dunning Drive; this incident was unreported to Police until April 4, 2014.
Nottawasaga OPP Officers and members from the Crime Unit immediately began an investigation into the allegation of Robbery and Break and Enter to a Dunning Drive home.
Police executed two warrants and have arrested and charged two young offenders in the course of their investigation. The identity of the charged males will not be released as per provisions under the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).
Charged is a 15 year old male from the Town of New Tecumseth, he is charged with Break and Enter, Robbery using a firearm, Disguise with Intent, Possession of a Weapon for dangerous purpose and Failure to comply with Disposition x 2.
The second male charged is a 16 year old male also from the Town of New Tecumseth, he is charged with Break and Enter, Robbery using a firearm, Disguise with Intent, Possession of a Weapon for dangerous purpose.
