Police received numerous calls to attend the intersection of Mapleview Drive at Country Lane for a 2 vehicle collision.
After investigation, police allege that a vehicle traveling eastbound on Mapleveiew Drive failed to stop for the red light and struck a northbound vehicle within the intersection. One vehicle travelled off the roadway and struck a pole.
Driver of the eastbound vehicle was charged with failing to stop for the red light under the Highway Traffic Act.
