(Otonabee South Monaghan Township, ON) – On Wednesday April 9, members of the Peterborough County OPP were called to investigate a report of a theft from a residence that occurred on Division Road.
Unknown suspect(s) had attended a residence on Division Road and stole a 9hp engine from a tractor, as well as an antique tractor that was on the property. The suspects then gained entry to the residence and stole food as well as a .22 cal Rifle.
The suspect(s) then fled the area.
Property Stolen is listed as:
1. 9hp Kubota Lawn tractor motor
2. A 1957 Allis Chalmers Farm Tractor
3. .22 cal Cooey Rifle
Total value of the theft approximately $3000
Members of the Peterborough County OPP Property Crime Unit are investigating the crime.
