OPP CHARGE ELGIN MAN FOR FRAUD

(Elgin,ON.) – On Wednesday, April 9th, 2014, following an investigation conducted by the Leeds County O.P.P. Crime Unit, officers arrested a 48 year-old Elgin, ON, resident for criminal offences related to the qualification for benefits with the Leeds and Grenville Ontario Works program between August 2011 through to February 2014.

Trevor Max GOBLE was arrested on a warrant in the first instance on 159 criminal charges:

1 count of fraud over $5000,

141 counts of utter a forged document,

16 counts of possession of a forged document with intent, and

1 count of Breaching an Undertaking

He is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Brockville, today, Thursday, April 10th, 2014.
