(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – On April 14, 2014 an officer from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was patrolling along Highway 35 near Golf Course Road when an approaching vehicle was operating a radar detector unit.
The officer subsequently stopped the vehicle and seized the radar detector unit. As a result of the investigation Daniel GORAL, 38 years of age, of Wasaga Beach was charged with the Highway Traffic Act related offence.
The accused faces a fine of $170.00.
