(TILLSONBURG, ON.) – On April 15, 2014 at approximately 5:18 p.m. Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) members attended a parking lot located at 192 Lisgar Avenue in Tillsonburg regarding a suspicious vehicle.
Investigation resulted in the arrest of a male party.
Police have charged 26 year old James CAYFORD of Tillsonburg under the Criminal Code of Canada with:
Impaired Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle
Fail to Comply with Order of Probation x 6
Careless Storage of a Firearm x 2
Possession of a weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm x 2
Possession of a Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order x 2
Possession of Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
Careless Storage of a Firearm x 2
Occupant of motor Vehicle Knowing there was a Firearm x 2
Possession of a firearm obtained by Crime x 2
Possession of ammunition obtained by Crime
Impaired Care and Control Over Eighty
The accused was held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock Court.
