(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Haldimand County detachment have charged two drivers with Stunt Driving after stopping them at a Rainham Road, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Tuesday April 15th, 2014 at approximately 11:20 pm Police were conducting R.A.D.A.R. patrols along Rainham Road when two vehicles came into site of the officer. The R.A.D.A.R. was activated and readings of over 50 km/h over the posted speed limit of 80 km/h were obtained which resulted in both vehicles being stopped.
Charged with Race a Motor Vehicle are 33 year old David LAWRENCE of Haldimand County, ON and 36 year old Brian SCHIELS of Niagara Region, ON. Both are to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON to answer to the charges at a later date. Their vehicles have been impounded for 7 days as well as their driver’s licences have been suspended for 7 days.
