On Tuesday April 15 police officers were advised of a vehicle in the ditch and the male driver was possibly impaired. Officers attended to the vehicle on Baskin Dr in Arnprior and located a male trying to drive the vehicle out of the ditch. The male was arrested and subsequently refused to provide a sample of his breath. John TEEVENS 67, of Arnprior was charged with impaired driving, and refusing to provide a breath sample. He was released from custody on a promise to appear in court in Renfrew on May 14. Provincial Constable Steph Trembley investigated.
