(Bancroft, Ontario) – On Wednesday April 02nd 2014, the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to an alarm at the former Bancroft Public School on Flint Avenue in the Town of Bancroft. Officers attended the location where they observed that a window had been damaged.
Investigation into the incident has resulted in one young person being arrested and charged. A 14 year old male of the Bancroft area has been charged with break and enter and mischief. He was released from custody on a promise to appear with conditions and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on the 15th of May 2014.
