Martin MARSHALL – Drunk Driving

(CALEDON, ON) – On April 20th, 2014 shortly before midnight, officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were patrolling in the Village of Bolton. Officers observed as the driver of a black Dodge was operating the vehicle in an erratic manner in a parking lot off Queen Street. The officers approached the vehicle and observed as the driver quickly exited the vehicle and was walking away. The officers approached the driver and immediately detected a strong odour of alcohol on the driver’s breath.

Subsequently, the driver was read the roadside screening breath demand. The driver’s breath reading registered a fail and he was transported to Detachment for further testing.

In conclusion, Martin MARSHALL, 52, of Caledon was arrested and charged with Operate Motor Vehicle Over 80.

The Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.

The accused is scheduled to make his first appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on May 8, 2014.
