(TILLSONBURG, ON.) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police was called to investigate several reports of graffiti sprayed throughout the Town of Tillsonburg overnight between April 17th and 18th, 2014.
The mischief was discovered shortly after 9:00 a.m. on April 18, 2014 and further damage was discovered as OPP investigated. In total, three residences, one County of Oxford building, two Town of Tillsonburg road signs, and seven area businesses, including The Tillsonburg Airport were the target of the graffiti.
Two 17 year old male youths from Ingersoll and Tillsonburg have both been charged with twelve counts of Mischief Under $5,000 – contrary to The Criminal Code of Canada.
The youths who cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, were released on a Promise to Appear and will appear in Youth Court at a later date.
