Prescription Drop-Off Day

On Saturday, May 10, 2014 between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., the London Police Service will be involved in the provincial-wide initiative of the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police, known as the Prescription Drug Drop-Off Day program. The London Police Service is working with the London, Elgin, Middlesex Crime Stoppers, Cherryhill Village Mall, White Oaks Mall, Loblaws – located at 1740 Richmond Street North, and Westervelt College.

The idea behind the program is to increase the awareness of our community about the importance of going through their medicine cabinets to find out what medications are expired and what medications they do not use anymore. It is our hope that everyone will learn that they can dispose of their expired and unused medications properly on this day and throughout the year at their local pharmacy.

Prior to the event, officers will be at a booth to provide the public and the media with information pertaining to this event. The following dates, times, and locations are:

Saturday, April 26, 2014 – 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. White Oaks Mall

Monday, May 5, 2014 – 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Loblaws (North)

Tuesday, May 6, 2014 – 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Cherryhill Village Mall
