(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On April 27, 2014, just before 9:00 p.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a collision involving two vehicles on Highway 401 eastbound near Victoria Road.
The collision occurred when an eastbound Suzuki vehicle was struck from the rear by a tractor trailer. The impact caused the Suzuki vehicle to lose some of its cargo onto the highway, resulting in a number of other eastbound vehicles to sustain damage from hitting the debris.
The driver of the Suzuki was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is continuing.
