(Morris-Turnberry, ON) – On June 9th, 2011 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of the Huron County OPP, OPP West Region Emergency Response Team and OPP West Region Canine Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence on Nichol Line in the Municipality of Morris -Turnberry in Huron County.
As a result of the execution of the search warrant, police seized a quantity of methamphetamine, cannabis resin, cannabis marihuana and cannabis marihuana plants. The estimated street value of the controlled substances seized is approximately $58,000.00. Also seized was offence related property that consisted of trafficking equipment and marihuana grow operation equipment.
Bobby-Joe REIGER (39) of Morris Turnberry and Faith Yvonne WEBER (32) of Huron East has been jointly charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with Production of a Controlled Substance (marihuana), Possession of Cannabis Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Cannabis Resin. Both will answer to their charges in the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on August 8, 2011. RM11045216
