(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Thursday June 16, 2011 shortly after 3 p.m., a Perth County OPP officer on patrol observed a very fast moving West bound car on Line 39 North of Mitchell. The officer locked the vehicle in on radar at 134 km/h in an 80 km/h zone. The 17 year old male driver from West Perth will have to appear in Stratford court on July 26, 2011 to answer to the charge of racing a motor vehicle. The action further resulted in the male’s driver’s licence being suspended for seven days and his car being towed from the scene and impounded for a week.
