(Bracebridge, ON) At 2:00 p.m. on June 30, 2014 members of Bracebridge OPP, Muskoka Ambulance and Seguin Fire Department responded to a boating accident in Skeleton Bay on Lake Rosseau, District of Muskoka. Police determined that a 5 year-old girl fell from a boat and was struck by the same vessel. The girl, who was wearing a PFD, was promptly pulled from the water and taken to shore to an awaiting ground ambulance. She was subsequently transported by air ambulance to a Toronto area hospital with a serious leg injury. Members of the Bracebridge Marine Unit are continuing the investigation.
