(WASAGA BEACH, ON.) – On June 30th, 2014 at approximately 8:50 a.m., a member of the Huronia West Detachment (Crime Unit) of the Ontario Provincial Police was west bound on Beach Drive in the one way section and observed a motor vehicle approaching, going the wrong way!
This vehicle was stopped and Police determined that the driver of this motor vehicle was operating while under the influence of alcohol. A further Police investigation into this driver revealed that he possessed a G2 Ontario Drivers Licence.
As a result of the blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of the operator the OPP suspended his Drivers Licence for 3 days. In addition the Police have charge this 19 year old male from Aurora with “Novice Driver BAC over zero†under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
