(Prince Edward County, ON)â€â€On June 30, 2014 at 10:18pm officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Prince Edward County detachment were called to the Sandbanks Provincial Park. Park Enforcement had stopped a motorist who appeared to have been consuming alcohol.
OPP arrested 24-year old male, Dana HOLTS of Ottawa, ON. The accused is charged with Operating While Impaired, contrary to Section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada and Operation With Over 80mgs. of Alcohol, contrary to Section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was later released from police custody on a promise to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, Picton on August 06, 2014.
