(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment arrested and charged a 39 year old female after police responded to an incident at a Kent Street South, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at approximately 12:40 a.m., police responded to an address after being contacted by a concerned citizen.
Through investigation it has been determined that a female and a male became involved in a verbal altercation which then turned into a physical confrontation. During the incident an edged weapon was produced however no injuries were reported.
As a result of police investigation a female was subsequently arrested.
Charged assault with a weapon is 39 year old Katharine Olivia JONES of Norfolk County, Ontario.
She is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charge.
