Barrie Police officers responded to a residence on Hamner St. in regards to an intruder inside the home with the complainant still inside. The officers arrived on scene and searched the residence locating a 19 yr old Barrie male. The male was placed under arrest for break and enter with the intent to commit theft. The male was processed and eventually released on a promise to appear with conditions. There was nothing taken and the home owner was only shaken up.
