On July 2nd 2014, the Waterloo Regional Police Service responded to the bus terminal located at 15 Charles Street west in the city of Kitchener for a report that a 35 yr old man had assaulted a Greyhound Bus Driver. Witnesses contacted police after the subject male had fled the scene after the assault. The male was arrested nearby and was subsequently charged with Assault, Michief under 5000$ and a breach of probation and held for bail hearing on July 3rd 2014. Police would like to thank witnesses who assisted with the investigation. The bus driver sustained minor injuries as a result of the assault but did not require any medical attention.
