(CALEDON, ON)- On June 25, 2014, the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported a break and enter into a home that had been under power of sale on Linn Road. On June 26th, 2014 witnesses called the police to report three men at the residence removing property. Officers located the males at the residence and during the course of the investigation learned that one the men was the previous owner and had enlisted the assistance of 2 others to remove property from the residence. Caledon OPP Street Crime Unit officers also learned that the security system had been damaged by the intruders.
In conclusion, Scott Ashley STREN, 42, of Willowdale was arrested and charged with 2 counts of Break and Enter, Theft Over $5,000, Theft Under $5,000, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Mischief Under $5,000.
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on August 7th, 2014 to answer to the charges.
