(Bancroft, Ontario) – At approximately 1:42 p.m. on Thursday July 03rd 2014, officers from the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a threatening complaint on Township Road 620 in Coe Hill. Officers attended the location and observed an adult female yelling and screaming. She was arrested for causing a disturbance in a public place. Investigation into the incident revealed that prior to police arriving, the female threatened two other adult females.
24 year old Melissa NICOLL-WELSH of Coe Hill, Ontario has been charged with:

Resist a peace officer
Forcible Confinement
NICOLL-WELSH has been held in custody pending a bail hearing on Friday July 04th 2014, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville, Ontario.
