(Alfred-Plantagenet, ON) The OPP Drug Enforcement Unit executed a warrant in a DeVista Boulevard residence in Alfred, on Wednesday June 25th.
The search of the residence resulted in the seizure of cannabis marijuana, hashish, methamphetamine (Speed), tablets of Codeine and marijuana plants.
The total street value of the drugs seized was estimated at more than a thousand dollars.
Officers arrested one resident.
Maxime VILLENEUVE (24 yrs) of Alfred was charged with the following Controlled Drugs and Substances Act sections:
– Section 5(2) Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking- Other Drugs (2 counts)
– Section 5(2) Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of Trafficking- under 3 kg (2 counts)
– Section 7(1) Produce a Schedule II substance – (cannabis marihuana)
He is scheduled to appear in court on July 30th in L’Orignal.
