PEDESTRIAN INJURED

(Bancroft, Ontario) – At approximately 11:26 p.m. on Tuesday July 08th 2014, officers from the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 62 in Maynooth. Investigation revealed that a pedestrian stepped onto Highway 62 and was struck by a south bound vehicle. The vehicle, a red Mazda then left the scene.

The pedestrian, a 16 year old female of Bancroft, Ontario was transported to hospital with minimal injuries.
